Finishing Her Story
Anna walked along the marina, admiring the gorgeous weather. It had been months since she had finally stepped out of her home and made her way to the old boat.
The lock down had hit her hard, and she couldn’t wait to get away, on her own for a while.
As she stepped onto the boat, the familiar musty smell greeted her. She went down to the cabin, trying to keep her balance on the stairs.
There it was.
Her untold story that she had written, but left unfinished.
But as she looked closely, she realized someone had finished it.
This post was written as part of the Friday Fictioneers Challenge hosted by the wonderful Rochelle. The idea is to write a short story (100 words), based on the photo prompt provided.
